IDEA is an Erasmus+ education association based in Adana, Türkiye; below are short answers about our support, placement fields, the countries we work in and certificates.
What is the full name of your association?
Our name is İnovatif Gelişim ve Eğitim Derneği, in English the Innovative Development and Education Association. Our short name is IDEA.
What does IDEA do?
IDEA matches Erasmus+ groups with suitable schools, companies and organisations and organises their accommodation, transfers, guidance and cultural programme. It is an education association based in Adana, Türkiye, and also takes part in international partnerships as a partner organisation.
Do you only work on Erasmus+ projects?
Mostly, yes: our main field is the Erasmus+ programme (KA1 and KA2). We also support training activities on themes such as social inclusion, digital skills, cultural heritage and the environment.
Do you write project applications?
No. IDEA does not offer project writing or application services. We take part in the mobility organisation of approved projects, in partner matching and in building international partnerships.
Which organisations can work with you?
Any organisation active in education or youth can contact us, including public and private schools, vocational schools, universities, municipalities, public education centres, NGOs and public bodies.
What support do you offer during a mobility?
During a mobility we provide host organisation or placement matching, accommodation, transfers, meals, a daily programme, guidance, interpreting, cultural visits and attendance documents. We also give the sending organisation the information it needs for the Europass Mobility process.
In which fields can you arrange placements and job shadowing?
Placements and job shadowing can be arranged in IT, electrical and electronics, mechanical engineering, motor vehicles, metal, food and beverage, hospitality and tourism, beauty and hairdressing, fashion and textiles, early childhood education, health, accounting, agriculture, food technology, furniture, logistics and construction.
Which countries do you work in?
We host groups in Adana, Türkiye, and work with partner organisations in Erasmus+ programme countries for groups travelling to Europe; the city for each mobility is chosen together, based on the field and its goals.
Do participants receive certificates?
Yes. Participants who complete the programme receive an attendance certificate. The Europass Mobility document is issued by the sending organisation, and we provide the information and records it needs.
